Leila is a psychologist and an anthropologist of religion. She is working on her dissertation in the University of Helsinki and is currently visiting the End-of-Life Care Research Group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her dissertation explores cultural representations of death, dying and euthanasia in contemporary Finnish culture. Methodologically and conceptually, her study combines ideas drawn from anthropology, psychology and sociology of religion. Leila is from Finland, but is now living in Brussels.
