Prof dr Luc Deliens, Chair of the End-of-Life Care Research Group, was appointed as co-chair of the European Association for Palliative Care (EAPC) Research Network in the past annual conference in May. He will be responsible for the organisation and structuring of social health and sociological research into palliative care in Europe. He is also responsible for the organisation of future EAPC Research Conferences, the first of which will be held in May 2012 in Trondheim, Norway.
